The Low Stock Alert widget in the Notify Me! app helps create urgency by showing customers how few items are left. Customizing this alert ensures it fits your branding and drives more conversions.
How to Access the Customization Panel
Open the Notify Me! app in your Shopify admin.
From the left sidebar, go to Low Stock.
Click Customize appearance.
Customization Options
Widget Activation
Toggle "Widget on Product Pages" to ON to enable the Low Stock Alert.
Alert Description
Customize the alert message in the Alert Description field.
Use
{{remaining_quantity}}to show how many items are left.Example:
Only {{remaining_quantity}} items left in stock!Alternative: “Hurry! {{remaining_quantity}} left!” or “Limited stock remaining.”
Show Icon
Choose to show or hide an icon next to the alert.
Icons can help draw attention to the message.
Live view
Redirects you to the prodcut page where the "low stock" widget would appear.
Style Customization
Click Style to adjust the widget’s appearance:
Text Color: Match the alert text color to your store’s theme.
Icon Color: Set a complementary or contrasting color.
Custom CSS: Add your own CSS for advanced styling, such as:
Animations
Custom fonts
Extra spacing or margins
Live Preview
All changes are reflected instantly in the Live Preview panel, so you can fine-tune your design before saving.

Save Your Changes
Once satisfied:
Click Save.
The updated Low Stock Alert will go live on your product pages.
