What Are Low Stock Logic Settings?
Low Stock Logic settings determine when the Low Stock widget displays based on product inventory. You can either:
Show the widget for all in-stock products.
Only show it when stock drops below a set threshold.
Display Options
1. Show the Widget for All In-Stock Products
The widget appears on every in-stock product, regardless of quantity.
Ideal if you want to maintain urgency storewide.
Example: Display "Only a few left!" even if there are 100 units in stock.
2. Show the Widget Only for Products Below a Threshold
The widget appears only when stock is low (below a number you choose).
Creates a more authentic sense of urgency.
Example: Set the threshold to 10—only products with 10 or fewer items in stock will show the widget.
Choosing the Right Option

Always show urgency | Display for all in-stock products |
Only show true low stock | Display below threshold |
How to Set Up Low Stock Logic
Open the Notify Me! app in your Shopify admin.
Go to the Low Stock section from the sidebar.
Click Settings on the Low Stock page.
Under Low Stock Logic, choose your preferred option:
Display for all products
Display below inventory threshold
If using a threshold, enter the desired number (e.g. 10).
Click Save.
Your selected logic will now apply across your product pages.
