What the Wishlist feature does
The Wishlist feature lets customers save products to a personal list and return to them later. They can build their list across multiple visits without having to re-find the products each time. You see which products customers save most often, which is one of the strongest demand signals available in your store.
Wishlist works for both logged-in customers and guests (you choose which). Logged-in wishlists sync across the customer's devices. Guest wishlists are stored in the customer's browser and automatically merge with their account if they later sign in.
Why it's useful
For customers:
Save products to buy later without losing them in tabs or bookmarks.
Compare options across visits before committing.
Return to your store without having to search again.
For you:
See which products are saved most often, and by how many shoppers.
Use Wishlist activity to inform restocks, promotions, and new product decisions.
Build a clearer picture of customer interest, even before someone buys.
What's coming next
Personalized Wishlist notifications (for example, alerts when a saved product comes back in stock or drops in price) are on the roadmap. For restock alerts on individual products today, use the Back in Stock module separately.
