You can let customers view their Notify Me Wishlist inside their Shopify customer account by adding a My Wishlist page to the customer account menu.
Once set up, customers can log in, open My Wishlist, and see (and manage) the items they’ve saved.
Before you start
Wishlist is enabled in Apps → Notify Me! → Wishlist
Customer accounts are turned on in your Shopify settings
Your store is using new customer accounts (this feature isn’t compatible with Shopify’s legacy customer accounts)
Step 1: Turn on the customer account extension
In Shopify admin, go to Apps → Notify Me! → Wishlist
In the Visibility panel, click Edit (top-right).
In Manage wishlist visibility, find Customer account extension and click Setup.
Follow the guideline to set up.
If you see an “Update data access” prompt during setup, click Update data access and complete the Shopify approval, then return and run Setup again.
Step 2: Add “My Wishlist” page to customer accounts
In the Customer account extension setup, click Add “My Wishlist” page.
In the Apps panel, click + next to Notify Me! Wishlist page, choose Accounts, then click Save.
In the left panel, click Add to menu.
In the Edit menu that opens, change the item label (it defaults to “Notify Me! Wishlist page”) to My wishlist, then click Save.
Once finished, the My Wishlist page is available in the customer account area.
Want to rename it later? Go to Shopify admin → Content → Menus → Customer account main menu.
Step 3: Customize the appearance (optional)
The look of the My Wishlist page — colors, fonts, and layout — is managed by Shopify, not in Notify Me!. The page automatically follows your store’s customer-account styling.
To change how it looks, edit your customer-account styling in the Shopify admin. Shopify manages the appearance of all pages inside the customer account area, including this one.
What customers will see
After setup, customers can:
Log in to their customer account
Use the account menu to open My Wishlist
View saved items, open one with View product, or Remove an item
Troubleshooting
“Customer accounts are turned off” — Customer accounts aren’t enabled on your store. Click Open Shopify settings in the setup window to turn them on, then try again.
“My Wishlist page is not compatible with Legacy customer accounts” — Switch your store to Shopify’s new customer accounts, then try again.
Customers don’t see My Wishlist in their account — Confirm the Customer account extension is active in your wishlist Visibility settings, the Notify Me! Wishlist page is added to Content → Menus → Customer account main menu, and the customer is logged in.
Disable the customer account extension and remove the “My Wishlist” page
Once the My Wishlist page is set up, the setup guide won’t appear again. To disable it, remove the page from the customer account menu and remove the app page from customer accounts in Shopify’s theme editor.
1) Remove the page from customer accounts
Go to Shopify admin → Online Store → Themes.
Next to your live theme, click Customize.
In the top page selector, choose Checkout and customer accounts.
Open the Apps panel (the apps icon in the toolbar).
Select the Added tab.
Click Notify Me! Wishlist page.
Click Remove page.
Click Save.
2) Remove the “My wishlist” menu link
Go to Shopify admin → Content → Menus.
Open Customer account main menu.
Delete the My wishlist link.
Click Save.
After this, customers won’t have a My Wishlist page in their account.
