Requests Table Overview – Manage Back-in-Stock Requests

The Requests table is your central dashboard for tracking and managing customer interest in out-of-stock products. Located within the Notify! Back in Stock app, this table helps you monitor, filter, and act on customer requests efficiently.

How to Access the Requests Table

  1. From your Shopify Admin, go to Apps section.

  2. Open the Notify Me! app.

  3. In the left menu, click Back in Stock.

  4. Under Quick Reports, select Requests.

You’ll now see the Requests page, which displays all customer requests in a tabbed table format.


Table Details

Each row in the table shows key information:

  • Product: Name and image of the requested product.

  • Contact Point: Customer’s email or phone number.

  • Request Time: When the request was made.

  • Last Notification: The most recent notification type sent.

  • Last Notification Time: Date/time of the last notification.

  • Request Status: Current state (e.g., Waiting, Notified, Ordered).

Understanding the Tabs

Each tab filters requests by status:

  • All: View all customer requests.

  • Waiting: Requests for out-of-stock products awaiting restock.

  • Waiting-GDPR: Notifications aren’t sent to customers as they haven’t given consent.

  • Pending Upgrade: Requests requiring plan upgrade for full functionality.

  • Notified: Customers who have been alerted that products are back in stock.

  • Ordered: Customers who placed an order after receiving a notification.
