Learn how to navigate and utilize the Products table of the Back in Stock to manage your inventory and customer requests effectively.

Where to Find the Products Table:

  1. Navigate to the Products Table:

    • From your Shopify admin dashboard, go to Apps.

    • Select Notify Me! app.

    • Click on the Back in Stock tab.

    • In the quick reports section, click on Demanding products.

This will take you to the Products table where you can view detailed information about each product's inventory status and customer requests.

Understanding the Products Table:

The Products table provides key details for each product, including:

  • Product: Shows the name and image of the product.

  • Current Waiting Requests: Displays the number of customers currently waiting for the product to be restocked.

  • Avg. Time to Restock: Indicates the average time between when customers submit their requests and the current date.

  • Historical Avg Order Rate: Shows the average order rate of the product in previous restocks.

  • Historical Total Orders: Displays the total number of orders historically placed for the product.

  • Product Inventory Status: Indicates the current inventory status of the product, such as Positive Inventory, Out-of-Stock, or Discontinued.


Navigating the Views:

  1. All:

    • The default view that shows all products and their details, including current waiting requests, average time to restock, historical average order rate, historical total orders, and product inventory status.

    • Use this view to get an overall picture of your product inventory and customer demand.

  2. Most Demanded Products:
    It shows the products that are in the highest demand right now. This view is sorted by the number of current requests. Use this to focus on restocking what customers want most.

  3. Trending Products:
    It shows the products that are trending now, based on recent request spikes. Items with the latest surge in popularity are prioritized. Use this to quickly adapt to customer interests.

  4. High Potential Revenue:
    It shows the high-revenue opportunities by focusing on products that have seen a recent increase in demand with higher prices. This view helps you prioritize restocking items with the best earning potential.

  5. Discontinued:

    • Lists products that have been discontinued.

    • Helps you manage customer expectations and update inventory records accordingly.

    • Use this view to identify products that are no longer available and to communicate this effectively to your customers.
