Using the Pre-order Products Report

Learn how to find and use the Pre-order Products Report to monitor and manage pre-order product availability in your store.

Where to Find the Pre-order Products Report

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Apps.

  2. Select Notify! Back in Stock | Pre-order.

  3. Click on the Preorder tab.

  4. Under Quick Reports, select Preordered products.

This opens the Pre-order Products Report, where you can view details about each product's pre-order status.

What the Report Shows

Each product listed in the report includes:

  • Product: Name and image of the product.

  • Order Count: Total number of pre-orders placed.

  • Total Orders Amount: Total value of all pre-orders.

  • Pre-order Status: Current availability for pre-order.

Understanding Pre-order Statuses

  • Pre-Ordering:
    The product is available for pre-order, even if it’s out of stock.

  1. Stopped:
    The product is not available for pre-order. This may occur if:

    • It no longer meets pre-order conditions.

    • The pre-order option was manually disabled.

Sorting, Filtering, and Customizing the Table

Use the controls in the top-right corner of the report table to organize and customize your view.

Sorting Options:

  • Latest

  • Product title A–Z

  • Product title Z–A

  • Orders count (Lowest to highest)

  • Orders count (Highest to lowest)

  • Total orders amount (Lowest to highest)

  • Total orders amount (Highest to lowest)

Filter Options:

  • Pre-order Status

  • Order Count

  • Vendor

  • Product Type

  • Product Tag

Customize Columns:

Click the column icon in the top-right corner to add or remove table columns as needed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is a product marked as “Stopped”?
The product doesn’t meet pre-order conditions or pre-ordering was turned off manually.

Can I filter by pre-order status?
Yes. Use the filter tool to view only Pre-Ordering or Stopped products.

Is the data updated in real time?
Yes. The report provides real-time updates.
