What is the Pre-order confirmation message?
The Pre-order confirmation message is sent automatically to customers after they place a pre-order through the Notify Me! Back in Stock | Pre-order app. It includes order details and can be delivered via:

Where to find and customize Pre-order confirmation
In your Shopify admin, go to Apps.
Select Notify! Back in Stock | Pre-order.
Click the PreOrder tab.
Click Customize appearance.
In the Notifications section, choose Pre-order confirmation.
How to enable Pre-order confirmation
Open the Email or SMS channel.
Use the toggle to turn the notification on or off.
