When a pre-order is delayed, keeping your customers informed is crucial. The Notify Me! Back in Stock | Pre-order app allows you to send a manual "Delayed Shipment" notification with an updated delivery date. You can fully customize the appearance and content of this email to match your store's branding.

Where to Find the Delayed Shipment Customization Settings

1.In your Shopify admin, go to Apps.

2.Select Notify! Back in Stock | Pre-order.

3.Click Customization.

4.Select Delayed shipment in the Notification section.

How to Customize the Delayed Shipment Email

Once you are in the Delayed Shipment Email settings, you can customize the template using the sections on the right side of the screen.

Email Template Options

•Choose from built-in formats (e.g., Simple).

•You can also send a test email at any time using the Send test Email button at the top right to preview your changes.

Header

•Shop name: Display your store's name at the top of the email.

•Logo: Alternatively, upload and display your store's logo for a more branded look.

Contents

This section allows you to modify the text your customers will read.

•Email subject: Set the subject line of the email (e.g., "Delay in dispatching your pre-order!"). You can include your shop name as a variable.

•Email title: Set the main heading inside the email body.

•Email description: Customize the main message explaining the delay.

•Fulfillment date label: Customize the text that introduces the new expected delivery date (e.g., "New expected fulfillment date: {{fulfilment_date}}").

Styles

Adjust the visual elements to match your store's theme.

•Color theme: Choose a primary color scheme for the email accents and buttons.

•Font family: Select your preferred font (e.g., Roboto).

•Font sizes: Adjust the size of the Email title and Email description text using the sliders.

Social Media

•Add links to your social media profiles (Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn, Telegram).

•Customize the Social networks title (e.g., "Follow Us on:").

•These links will appear in the footer of the delayed shipment email, helping you stay connected with your customers.
