What's a better way to tell your customers that their favorite product from your store is back in stock than a notification reminding them of your store's vibe?
You can customize your email notifications to better match your store's theme. here's how you can do that:
From the left navigation bar select Back in stock.
Go to the Customize appearance section.
In the Notifications section select the First Back in stock Email.
Select Email from Back-in-stock channels.
You'll now be able to see your 3 options for email templates and choose from them or add your own custom template.
Each of them has a different design. here's their overall look:
Simple
Supply
Simplify
Each of them has its unique style. choose whichever you prefer.
Now that you've chosen your favorite template you can start customizing it.
Sender email: it is by default the Notify me! email address but you can click on the Edit button and you will be taken to the Settings page to add another email address. learn more about it in this article.
Header: It can be chosen out of the Logo or shop’s name. Logos can be uploaded in Image.
Note: Notify me! automatically uses your store's logo from your Shopify account if you have set one. you can read about how to set a logo for your store here. note that you need to log in again to Notify me! after uploading your logo.
Content: The Email subject, Email title, and Email description, Add to cart and Visit product labels, Product price and Discount Code can be edited from here. There are some variables you can use in your content like Shop name, Product name, or Product link. You can put them anywhere in your texts by selecting where you want them and clicking on the variable.
Styles: Here you can choose from one of the color theme options you have or add your own custom theme. you just need to add your primary color and we will generate the other 2 colors with a pre-defined logic. you can edit them later on if you don't like them.
You can choose your text color theme from Dark or Light based on your email theme.
You can also choose your email font family and font size.
Note: Gmail doesn't support all font families. Our list includes the fonts that Gmail supports.
