Verifying your domain allows you to send back-in-stock emails from your own address, improving deliverability and protecting your brand from email fraud.

Why Verify Your Domain?

Domain verification ensures:

  • Better email deliverability

  • Protection against phishing and spam

  • Authentication that your emails are genuine

  • Trust in your brand's communications

How to Set Up Your Sender Email

  1. Go to Settings
Navigate to Settings > General Settings in your Notify Me! dashboard.

  2. Choose a Sender Email Option
Under Sender Email, you’ll see three choices:

    • Send from Notify Me!’s email addresses.

    • Send from your shop name using Notify Me!’s domain (e.g., [email protected]).

    • Send from your own email and domain (requires domain verification).

How to Verify Your Domain

To send from your own email and domain, follow these steps:

1) Click “Add Your Own Email”
Enter the email you want to use for sending back-in-stock notifications.

2) Select Your Domain Provider
Choose your DNS provider (e.g., Cloudflare, GoDaddy).

⚠️ Some providers may require special CNAME formats.

3) Add the CNAME Records
Follow the on-screen instructions to add the DNS (CNAME) records to your provider’s settings.

4) Authenticate the Domain
Click the Authenticate Domain button.
You’ll see a “Domain authentication in progress” banner.

  • This process usually takes 1 hour but may take up to 48 hours.

  • Once successful, a Verified label will appear.

Managing Your Sender Email

  • To edit or delete your email, click the three dots next to it.

  • Note: The store name in option #2 is currently not editable.
