Notify Me pricing is based on a monthly subscription plan. Each plan includes a set of usage limits for core features like notifications, back-in-stock requests, and wishlist actions. If you go over your monthly limits, you can keep using those features and pay a small additional fee for each extra action.
What’s included in your plan
Each plan includes:
A fixed monthly subscription cost
A set number of notifications, back-in-stock requests, and wishlist actions
Access to SMS and PreOrder billing (optional, charged separately)
You can view your usage any time on your homepage dashboard. If you stay within your limits, you pay only the base plan fee.
What happens if you exceed your limits
You don’t need to worry about features stopping. If you go over your plan’s usage limits, you’ll continue using the feature and be charged per extra action at a small rate.
Here’s how overage fees work by plan:
Essentials ($9.90/month): $0.30 per extra action
Pro ($39.90/month): $0.25 per extra action
Premium ($99.90/month): $0.20 per extra action
Notify Me Plus ($499.90/month): Unlimited usage, no extra fees
Extra actions include:
Each notification sent beyond your plan’s limit
Each back-in-stock request beyond your plan’s limit
Each wishlist action beyond your plan’s limit
Example: Going over your limit
You’re on the Pro plan and your usage looks like this:
250 notifications (50 over)
180 requests (within limit)
1100 wishlist actions (100 over)
Your extra usage charges will be:
50 notifications × $0.25 = $12.50
100 wishlist actions × $0.25 = $25.00
Your total monthly bill:
$39.90 base plan
$37.50 in extra usage
Total: $77.40
Where you’ll see these charges
You’ll always see your base plan fee and any extra usage charges reflected in your Shopify invoice, under the transaction fees section.
However, the amount shown in your Notify Me dashboard (under Add-on Charges) may not match the exact number that appears in your Shopify billing. That’s because:
Notify Me tracks your usage starting from the day you begin your paid plan with us
Shopify bills you based on its own 30-day billing cycle
As a result, some of your usage may appear in your current invoice, and the rest in the next one. To understand how this works and why totals may differ, see this article.
